Rolling Stone Releases Top 50 Albums & 100 Singles

Rolling Stones released the Top 50 Albums and Top 100 Singles of 2008; some of our favorite artist made the list. A lot of these albums were slept on in our community, if you didn’t check out some of these CD’s don’t fret you can still pick them up or download them….legally of course
In at # 48 Rapheal Saadid The Way I See It
#42 Nas Untitled, but you know he was pushing to use the "N" word
#33 Ne-Yo Year of the Gentlemen
#30 Duffy Rockberry
#19 Erykah Badu New Amerykah, Part 1 (4th World War)
#7 Coldplay Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends
And of Course Lil Wayne The Carter III came in at number 3

Surprisingly enough I have all of these in rotation on the iPod

Naming singles is a hard thing to do but Lil Wayne held down two spaces #4 "Lollipop” and #84 “A Milli” and American’s favorite Beyonce/Sasha Fierce held down the #1 spot with “Single Ladies”

New comers…well not so new if you heard their work before mainstream success also made the list.

Jazmine Sullivan #58 “Bust Your Windows”

Estelle feat. Kanye West “American Boy” came in at # 7
